It’s a simple but important fact: employee health is key to business success.

Investing in the health and wellbeing of employees can save businesses billions of dollars every year. Based on the findings from the Thailand’s Healthiest Workplace by AIA Vitality 2018, an average of 73 days* are lost due to absence and presenteeism per employee per year.

For employees, participating in the Healthiest Workplace Survey by AIA Vitality will give them a comprehensive overview of their health and wellbeing in terms of lifestyle, clinical indicators, mental health, stress and other areas that may concern them. Each participating employee will also receive a personal report detailing their unique AIA Vitality Age.

Given that so much of our time is spent at work, we think it’s important that we understand, measure and ultimately, improve wellbeing in the workplace. That’s why we have created the Healthiest Workplace by AIA Vitality.

The Healthiest Workplace Survey by AIA Vitality uses a scientific measure of “AIA Vitality Age”, which shows the impact of a range of lifestyle, clinical and mental wellbeing risks on an individual’s long-term health. The difference between a person’s AIA Vitality Age and their actual age is referred to as their AIA Vitality Age gap, which corresponds to the predicted impact of these risks on their life expectancy. If a participant is particularly fit and healthy, their AIA Vitality Age could be lower than their actual age. However, for the majority of people, AIA Vitality Age will be higher than actual age.
